And the results are quite impressive: Here are 10 recently renovated homes for sale in Philly with brand-spanking new kitchens, bathrooms, and more with price tags ranging from $150,000 to just under $2 million.
Parkside (3 beds, 2 baths)—It really is possible to buy a good-sized home in the city for less than $200,000. This 1,440-square-foot home is close to the zoo and Fairmount Park, and it recently underwent a top-to-bottom renovation. There are new hardwoods, a revamped kitchen, and new windows. And we're digging the tiles on the stairs. Asking price: $150,000.
Newbold (2 beds, 1 bath)—Here's another lovely home that makes the under-$200K cut. The rowhome was last renovated in 2007, though it has a new paint job and the basement is now dry-locked as of this year. The backyard patio is an added bonus, too. Asking price: $169,000.

If you want to get your hands dirty, the downstairs garage is still a raw space and has a lot of potential. Asking price: $349,000.
Fairmount (4 beds, 2 baths)—Down the street from Eastern Penitentiary is this totally rehabbed 3-story rowhome. It's clearly move-in ready for someone with a love for modern finishes. We're fans of the painted exposed brick in the living room, too. Plus, there's a fenced in back patio. Asking price: $465,000.
Northern Liberties (4 beds, 2 baths)—This recently renovated home in Northern Liberties has been on the market for a few months now. It's currently listed for $550,000—but public records show that it last sold in 2005 for a jaw-dropping $44,000. That may give you an idea of the kind of transformation it's undergone. Though it's been upgraded, a lot of the home's original details remain, with exposed brick and hardwood floors throughout. Asking price: $550,000.
Fitler Square (3 beds, 1.5 baths)—This gorgeous home pulls off the whole rustic-chic look off really well. The home was built in 1915 but most recently got special treatment from an architect.
