Renovated Carriage House in Graduate Hospital Asks $1.2M

The original was built in 1891

A 19th-century carriage house that last sold in 2004 for $489,000 is now on the market with a whole new look and a much bigger price tag.

"These sellers have superb taste, and they renovated this home for themselves. Really no expense was spared," Jeff Block of City Block Team tells Curbed Philly.

The current owners tacked on a two-story addition to the Graduate Hospital carriage house, which was built in 1891. Today, the property is a 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home that clocks in at 2,570 square feet.

But you'd never guess the home's history based on the modern interiors. Upstairs, the master suite has two huge walk-in closets and a Juliet balcony. Downstairs, the living room with built-ins and a gas fireplace open up to a private patio in the back.

The asking price of this home is $1,245,000.
