From the Bartram's Mile to the 30th Street Station Master Plan, there's a lot in the works
Back in January, the Schuylkill River Development Corporation released their strategic plan for 2016-2020, and if there's one thing we pulled out of the 41-page document it's that the Schuylkill is going to look very different in 10 years. The plan laid out the 11 projects that are in the works along the river, from the $6.6 million Bartram's Mile in 2016 to the $4 billion 30th Street Station Master Plan in 2026.
But a lot has changed in six months. That $4 billion estimate for the 30th Street Station Master Plan is now up to $6.5 billion, for example.
And fortunately, some of projects that are currently under construction just received state funding. The $3 million awarded to the Bartram's Mile to Passyunk Point and the $900K+ given to South to Christian connection will help push them to the finish line.
Find out more about all of these projects below.
